Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) provides a showcase for local, Canadian and international designers. Our local talent is given the opportunity to work in a progressive environment, allowing them to grow and develop in the fashion community. WCFW continues to evolve each season along with our designers. Since the fall of 2003, we have fostered a design community that engages local and Canadian media, buyers and the general public. We also continually receive international attention from designers, media, buyers and the fashion industry.
Up-and-coming designers can present their fashion on the runway at our bi-annual shows. WCFW collaborates with other agencies, businesses and schools to provide designers with opportunities to advance their design careers. The Western Canada Fashion Week Incubator Program was launched to help Western Canada’s fashion entrepreneurs gain exposure at the national and international level.
We work year round to promote our designers, who have participated in numerous events, including:

- Fashion on Fire
- Kingsway Mall “Let Your Light Shine” Campaign
- The Works Art & Design Festival
- TransCanada Runway (Montreal)
- NYC Fashion Week
