DESIGNER REGISTRATION FORM – EDMONTON
DESIGNER SHOWCASE INFORMATION
Western Canada Fashion Week provides everything a designer needs for a successful runway show. To ensure the highest caliber presentation, please review the information below.
Duration: Each designer is given 10 to 20 minutes of runway time, which corresponds to 8 to 20 outfits.

June 4 Thursday -8pm $200.00, June 5 Friday-8pm $300.00, June 6 Saturday 8pm $400.00, June 6 Saturday 3pm $400.00,
June 6 both shows $600.00, June 7 Sunday 8pm $300.00, June 8 Monday 8pm $200.00, June 9 Tuesday 8pm $200.00
(value of $2000);
Designer Brand (example- Diesel Jeans): $500 ALL shows (value of $2000)
Sample Sale / Vendor Opportunities: Designers can participate as a vendor at no charge day of their show.
You may bring samples and or stock any time to WCFW tent on Churchill Square. The square is open daily from 11 am -11 pm from June 4-9 2026. You must provide your own racks, promotional material, and personal to sell and secure your merchandise. Please contact us for more details and to confirm your participation in the vendor area.
Designers not doing shows May register for $100 daily If approved by curator
Model/Go-sees: New Rules: ( different methods of providing models)
1.Models can be selected from Go-sees by designers. Models are welcome from agencies and as well as freelance models. Model are required to down load form from website, fill in form, staple head shot or full body shot together with proof of email transfer of $15.00 registration fee to sandra@wcfw.ca and please bring 3 documents to Go-see
Go-see dates will be on our Instagram and Facebook. Designers may go in and select models from forms and contact them directly as WCFW does not book models.
2.If you would like to hire a modelling agency then you may call them direct to make arrangements for booking, payments and or sponsorship.
Sponsorships: You may find your own sponsors to help cover the production of your WCFW show. WCFW will assist you with a sponsorship package and provide your sponsor(s) with WCFW sponsorship recognition on website .
Marketing: WCFW marketing reaches clients, buyers and media however a designer needs to promote their business to contacts, buyers, media and promote your show on social media or hire a PR Firm. Promotion of specific shows is not the responsibility of WCFW.

Fashion Show: Must be done in advance (Preparation)
Makeup + Hair: Visuals and storyboards of makeup and hair must be submitted prior to hair teaminternational@wcfw.ca Kit fee of $50.00 must be paid to head of your makeup and hair team, PLEASE pay directly to them.
Photographs: WCFW has a team of professional photographers who capture photos of every model for every show. WCFW runway photos that are used for print must credit both the photographer and WCFW. All proof images are made available in digital format to designers and models after WCFW at no charge. High res digital images and prints can be obtained after the conclusion of WCFW for a fee. If you have your own photographer you must contact ferd@wcfw.ca to book space in photographers pit.
Arrival Time- Evening show: Bring your garments to the designated area 6pm the day of your show. information will be given to designers asap
Staging Area + Dressing Room: You are responsible for your models. Provide snacks and drinks for your models. No alcohol is permitted backstage. Please keep the area clean, bagging all garbage, and double-checking to ensure nothing is left behind as WCFW is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Rehearsals: Rehearsal time will be announced This is not dress rehearsals.
